Liquids Operations Foreman
The Job
Reports
to the Shift Production Manager.
Key Result Area
- Supervision and
co-ordination of all process operations in the Liquids section by ensuring
that equipment are running efficiently and product quality specifications
are attained.
- Maintaining
proper supervision and manning of production lines, and ensuring
corrective /preventive maintenance of equipment is done.
- Monitoring
production material/spare parts usage and ensuring efficient utilization
with minimum spoilage/wastage.
- Maintaining the section’s
sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Maintaining good
house-keeping and safety of both employees and equipment.
- Ensuring the set
quality standards are met.
- Continuous
monitoring of product being packed.
- Ensuring a well
trained lean and disciplined working team.
The Person
The
ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Aged between 25
to 35 years.
- Degree in Food
Science & Technology / Production Engineering.
- HND in
Production/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
- Knowledge of
food safety systems and especially HACCP.
- At least 3 years
of relevant experience.
- One should be
able to work under highly stressful conditions.
- Must be capable
of working independently, without close supervision and meet strict
deadlines.
- Must be a team
player.
