The
Assistant Field Security Advisor should have a background and experience within
the security sector with at least ten years military experience including managerial
exposure.
The
individual will be responsible for a security force and be required to liaise
with local administration officials.
The
individual must be computer literate and fully conversant with writing reports,
security plans, routine operational orders, orders for security tasks,
maintaining time sheets and have experience of running a radio / control room.
Roles and Key Responsibilities
- Managing all
aspects of on-site security
- Development of
standard operating procedures (SOP) for day to day operations
- Guard force
training
- Planning for
quick response security support teams
- Journey
management planning
- Daily risk
assessment
- Spot checks on
guard posts to assist with any staff discipline issues
- Information
gathering including the production of a weekly report
- Working with
contractors to ensure that relevant security information is fully
understood by all personnel
- Identifying,
preparing and maintaining suitable airstrips to support both emergency
medical evacuation and ERP contingencies
- Generating a
security alert status system
- Attending and
contributing to daily operational and security meetings
