Director, Nursing & Clinical Programmes
Reporting
to the Chief Nursing and Clinical Programmes Officer, the Director, Nursing
& Clinical Programmes will oversee the Nursing Services Division and the
Surgery; Maternal, Neonatal & Child Health; Ambulatory and Medicine
programmes.
S/he
will lead the formulation and implementation of policies and the preparation of
annual capital, operational and staffing budgets of the Division.
S/he
will ensure the effective use of resources for all areas of responsibility and
monitor the quality of services provided against performance indicators thereby
enhancing the provision of quality care to the patients.
Working
closely with the Director, Nursing Practice, the incumbent will assist in
identifying areas of improvement in nursing practice, initiate systematic
studies and implement effective solutions.
Applicants
must have an MSc in Nursing, with 8-10 years of relevant management experience
in a Hospital and/or international health organization. A Doctorate degree
(PhD) will be an added advantage.
S/he
should be an effective decision maker who promotes a patient centered approach
and has the ability to positively interact with and influence healthcare
practitioners.
Candidates
must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Administrative Director, Laboratory
The
Administrative Director, Laboratory will be responsible for the development and
application of quality management methods against performance indicators,
within the Laboratory, including practice guidelines and audits.
The
incumbent will work with relevant stakeholders to develop new services.
S/he
will lead the formulation and implementation of policies and the preparation of
annual capital, operational and staffing budgets of the Laboratory.
S/he
will ensure the productive and cost effective utilization of human, material
and capital resources in the provision of various services.
Applicants
must possess an MSc in Medical Laboratory Technology with 8-10 years of
management experience, including a minimum of 5 years as a Senior Technologist
in a busy Laboratory.
Candidates
must be registered with the Kenya Medical Laboratory and Technicians Board.
Programme Administrator, Maternal, Neonatal & Child Health
Reporting
to the Director, Nursing Services & Clinical Programmes, the Programme
Administrator, Maternal, Neonatal & Child Health Programme, will develop,
lead and coordinate a highly skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver quality
care to all clients seeking services in the Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health
Programme.
The
incumbent will formulate goals and objectives in collaboration with the Programme
Chair to direct programme activities and meet the hospital’s strategic
plan.
S/he
will ensure revenue generation through development of new services, expansion
of existing ones and cost containment initiatives.
Working
with the Director, Nursing and Clinical Programmes, the incumbent will prepare
annual capital, operational and staffing budgets.
Applicants
must have a Bachelors Degree in Medicine, Nursing or any related field.
S/he
should have professional qualification and experience in Maternal, Neonatal
& Child Health with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar
role.
S/he
should have strong managerial, analytical and administrative skills.
Manager, Diagnostic Imaging Services
The
Manager, Diagnostic Imaging Services, will be responsible for the operations of
the Diagnostic Imaging Services Department, including human resources
management, equipment selection & utilization, implementation of a quality
assurance program, monitoring of vendor performance and the development of
exceptional customer service strategies.
Applicants
must have a Degree in Business Management or related field with 5 years’
experience in leadership preferably in a healthcare environment.
A
Degree/Diploma in radiology/imaging technology will be an asset.
