International Business
& Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a U.S.-based international
development consulting company, is recruiting for aSenior Evaluation Investigator with conflict/post-conflict experience for a USAID
opportunity.
The subject opportunity is
a performance evaluation of a multi-year USAID/East Africa conflict mitigation
activity. The countries of performance are Kenya, Uganda, and Somalia.
Responsibilities:The Senior Investigator is responsible, in collaboration with the Team Leader, for finalizing the evaluation methodology; developing the data collection strategy, instruments, and protocols; directing, and as access allows, participating in data collection and compilation; conducting data analysis, and preparing all Task Order deliverables.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of
experience in development programs in transitioning countries, including
experience conducting program evaluations which utilize strong evidence to
make generalizable conclusions on program performance and impact.
- Experience
in conflict analysis and evaluation of conflict mitigation programs.
- Must have
demonstrated skill and experience utilizing both qualitative and
quantitative evaluation methodologies and tools.
- Extensive
participation working on donor-funded projects, including for USAID.
- Previous
experience evaluating similar activities in East Africa.
- Must be able
to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent
verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have
demonstrated literacy in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
