School Librarian
The Kenya Fluorspar Company
is a corporate mining concern based in the Kerio Valley with a workforce of about
370 employees and 250 on outsourced activities.
We produce fluorspar for world export markets only.
The company invites applications from qualified persons to fill the position of School Librarian who will be expected to support the educational aims and objectives of the school, and monitor the effectiveness of the library’s contribution to learning and teaching.
Responsibilities
- Manage the
planning and administrative functions of the library
- Provide
effective access to library collections and resources
- Maintain the
organization of library materials
- Provide
library services in response to the information needs of library users
The ideal candidate must be in possession of professional
qualification in librarianship or information management with at least 2 years
experience in a similar position.
Advanced computer literacy and high proficiency in information systems applications is a must.
