Area Coordinator
Contract Details: One year with possibility of extension
Job Summary:
The Area Coordinator will
be the focal person in coordinating and overseeing Concern’s operations in
Marsabit County.
More specifically, S/he
will be responsible for representing Concern in the County, coordination and
networking, liaison with Nairobi on programme support, safety and security
issues as well as systems management both within Concern and in building
systems’ capacity of partner organisations.
Person specification:
Qualifications:
- A post
graduate degree in Administration, business management or any other
relevant field. Qualification in communications will be an added advantage
- A minimum of
5 years’ experience in a senior administrative position with an
international NGO, 2 of them in a hardship area
- Demonstrated
organisational skills
- Strong
skills in networking and advocacy
- Excellent
written and oral communication in English
