We are looking for ambitious, self-driven candidates to fill the
following vacancy:
Life and Pensions Manager
Reporting to the head of Employee Benefits; the job holder will
be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
The candidate will be responsible for spearheading the Life
& Pensions Administration arm of the business, while focusing on client
service, business growth and maintaining the existing client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor
and improve operations to ensure maximum efficiency and exemplary client
service in Benefits Administration and Client Services
- Administer
pension schemes in accordance with the RBA and KRA regulations and ensure
compliance
- Maintain
existing schemes portfolio and foster business relationship with all
stakeholders
- Supervise,
train and mentor staff in technical aspects of the business
- Assist
the team in credit control
- Ensure
that clients issues are handled expeditiously and with courtesy
Qualifications and Competencies
- University
Degree in Business Related Studies
- Professional
qualification in Life/Pension Management will be an added advantage
- Must
have a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience with at least 2 in
management level
- Must
have knowledge of legislation governing retirement benefits and insurance
in the East African region
- Solid
knowledge of pension schemes administration with a thorough understanding
of administration of both Defined Benefits and Defined Contribution
Schemes
- Demonstrate
leadership, managerial, organizational and administrative skills
- High
professional ethical standing
- Excellent
planning and communication skills
- Team
player with good interpersonal skills
- Computer
Literate
