Renewable Energy Ventures Kenya Ltd is a renewable energy and energy efficiency project development and advisory firm. We are headquartered in Kenya with a presence in the Washington DC metro area, USA. We work closely with our clients to help reduce their current energy consumption, recommend alternative energy sources, identify technology partners and structure and source funding for the implementation.
The solanterns initiative has received several awards including the UNEP hosted 2010 SEED Awards, the NASA Hosted Launch Award as one of the top 10 energy innovators and the Finish Government supported Energy and Environment Partnership (EEP).
Responsibilities
- Conceptualise
and execute marketing strategies to drive stronger sales within the
solanterns initiative
- Build and
maintain relationships with institutional partners including MFIs, micro
entrepreneur organizations and other relevant organizations
- Recruit and lead
a team of sales people to execute the strategies developed
Requirements
- Excellent
written English & Swahili
- Experience in
sales with demonstrable ability to consistently meet and exceed sales
targets
- Strong sales
personality and self-starter
- Open mindedness
and motivation to learn new things, in particular within a lean
organisational environment
- Good analytical
skills and problem-solving mind set
- Creative,
out-of-the-box thinking
- Completed
university degree
