Position Title:Programme Officer– NAC 5

Reporting to:Regional Programme Manager
Duty stations:Kisumu, Nyeri, Nairobi or Mombasa
Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the
Regional Programme Manager in planning, implementation and monitoring of
alcohol and drug abuse intervention program in the region;
- Facilitate
partnership linkages and working relationships with the public, private
sector, and the general public;
- To prepare
monthly and quarterly work-plans and budgets for the Regional Office in
liaison with the Regional Programme Manager;
- Facilitate
evaluation of alcohol and drug abuse programs in liaison with the Regional
Programme Manager;
- To prepare
monthly and quarterly progress reports;
- Perform any
other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor’s
degree in Social Sciences from a recognized university;
- Ability to work
with diverse groups of stakeholders;
- Skills in
community/resources mobilization;
- Knowledge of
alcohol and substance of abuse legislation, policy and related mitigation;
- Knowledge of
programme design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and budgeting;
- Minimum 3 years
relevant work experience;
- Must be
proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office);
- Excellent
communication skills (English and Kiswahili both oral and written).
