Long-term & Short term assignment (s)
SNV Netherlands Development Organization (Kenya) countries/kenya seeks qualified short- and long-term professionals for the anticipated USAID-funded Kenya Agricultural Value Chain Enterprises (KAVES) Project, a 5-year project, which will, among other activities, address gaps in the value chain at the macro
or systemic level dealing predominantly with private sector firms up and down the value chains.
Additionally, those
meeting requirements of the role but are only available to offer short-term
assignments are also requested to apply and state that fact in the cover
letter.
Requirements/Qualifications
- 10 years’ international experience
with successful value chain development projects in the technical area of
management responsibility.
- Demonstrated success in
implementing projects aimed at increasing the competitiveness and
inclusiveness of value chains using facilitation approaches.
- Master’s Degree in a field
relevant to agricultural development such as: agricultural economics,
marketing, post-harvest handling, agribusiness management or related
fields.
- Kenyan experience is preferred.
Contract
Duration: 2 years with possibility for extension up-to 5 years.
