Position: Logistic Assistant, Non - Auto Business
Reports to: Head - Business Development

Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with
supplier to ensure timely issue of Pro Forma invoice, Certificate of
Conformity and originals of all relevant import documents.
- Liaise with
clearing agent to avoid demurrage/storage charges, ensure timely issue of
import declaration form, direct loading of cargo, clearing documents and
lodging of customs entry.
- Handling
insurance (including claims) for cargo, stock, goods in transit
- Handling
import costing.
- Follow up
with accounts department for payment of customs entry
- Verifying
all bills before submission to accounts department
- Receive
cargo at port and clearing agent yard and verify as per packing list.
- Regular
stock monitoring and record keeping of all imports & sales.
- Verification
of imported goods and stock with system.
- Liaise with
sales and purchase team for current and future procurement and delivery
plans.
- Daily/Weekly
report to Business Development Head
Desired Profile
- Must have
logistics company exposure
- Understanding
of import/export procedure
- Must have
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level
of business orientation and understanding
- Diploma in
Logistics Management
- Minimum of 5
years experience in handling export, import and logistics
