We are looking for a talented individual to fill the following exciting role within Kenya Shell:
Nairobi Terminal Manager
Reporting to the East Africa Depot Operations Manager, the Nairobi Terminal
Manager will be responsible for receipt, storage, handling and distribution of
Petroleum products whilst maintaining the required Health Safety Security &
Environment standards, agreed customer service levels and staff management.We are looking for a talented individual to fill the following exciting role within Kenya Shell:
Nairobi Terminal Manager
Key Performance areas for the role:
- Ensure that all
depot operations are carried out efficiently, effectively and to the
required Health Safety Security & Environment standards.
- Ensure product
availability; manage product in transit and in storage and control product
losses effectively and safely.
- Manage and
monitor the Nairobi terminal Health Safety Security & Environment
performance.
- Ensure that all
depot facilities are maintained and fit for purpose and as per required
Health Safety Security & Environment standards.
- Implement the
groups Health Safety Security & Environment policy and maintain good
housekeeping.
- Prepare and
manage Terminal budget.
- Manage the
performance of depot staff through coaching, on job training etc.
- Manage and
ensure good working relations with external stakeholders
- Manage the out
sourced depot service contracts.
- Ensure all
customer delivery requirements both local & exports are executed.
Minimum requirements/competencies
- Degree in
Mechanical Engineering with atleast 3 years working experience in Depot or
Terminal management.
- Hands on working
knowledge in project & contractor management.
- Good leadership,
communication, analytical & problem solving skills with ability to
work under pressure.
- Excellent
knowledge of Health Safety Security & Environment
