Receptionist Job in Nairobi Kenya


Our client in the telecommunication industry is seeking to fill the position of Receptionist who will be charged with the following duties and responsibilities.
·                     Greeting visitors, offering them refreshments and directing them to the right person


·                     Answering queries from callers and visitors
·                     Answering calls and taking and relaying messages
·                     Screening and directing phone calls
·                     Receiving and sorting mail and deliveries
·                     Scheduling appointments
·                     Maintaining appointment diary either manually or electronically
·                     Carryout office filing, bookkeeping and scheduling of events and appointments accordingly.
·                     Preparing letters and documents
·                     General administrative and clerical support
·                     Tidying and maintaining the reception area
·                     Looking after the 'visitor' book and security passes
Minimum qualifications, skills and competencies
·                     Diploma in Business Administration or related field
·                     At least 2 years of similar experience in a busy office
·                     Excellent telephone and office etiquette
·                     Ability to effectively use standard office software, such as MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and Power point)
·                     Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
·                     Dependable, responsible, reliable and attentive to detail
