Job Title: Systems and Compliance Engineer
Reporting To: Manager, Quality Assurance and Environment
Location: Nairobi

Job Description:

Key accountabilities will include:-
   

Planning and undertaking Quality and Environmental Management Systems Audits and ensuring the reports are received by Top Management promptly following up on corrective actions.
Ensuring supplier evaluation is monitored by development of criteria for suppliers evaluation, re-evaluation and follow up of supplier monitoring
    Promoting Environmental and Quality culture by ensuring Environmental and Quality Management Systems trainings are conducted, procedures and policies are adhered to and coordinating the activities of the Multi-disciplinary teams
    Planning for management review meetings, monitor, follow up and report on the action plans
    Ensuring compliance to relevant laws and regulations and liaising with the local government, regulatory bodies and statutory bodies in regards to environmental and quality issues and advising the management.
    Preparing the annual Environmental Impact Audit report and presenting it to National Environmental Management Authority
    Developing and maintaining of Environmental and Quality Systems’ documentation and procedures
    Identifying, implementing and benchmarking for best practices in Quality management and compliance

Key Deliverables
    Environmental and Quality Audits Performance
    Audit Plan implementation

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
    2 – 5 years in a comparable role, preferably in an ISO Certified organization
    Bachelor of Science degree in Production, Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronic Engineering
    Proficient Computer skills
    Excellent communication &presentation skills
    Knowledge of Quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA
    A Certified Auditor in Quality and Environmental Management Systems
