Our client in the Hospitality industry in Mombasa, is urgently looking for a Human Resource Manager.
Reporting to the MD, the HR Manager will be responsible for guiding and managing Human Resource programs, policies and procedures.The position requires a strategic thinker who understands the impact of people on the overall objectives of the business. He/she must have Hospitality industry experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
    * Overall responsible for the Human Resource function of the company
    * Advise top management on best practice Human Resource Management
* Carry out employee induction and placement
    * Ensure all HR related documentation is well maintained
    * Promote health and safety
    * Implement and run a Performance Management system
    * Implement training & development Programs
    * Ensure timely recruitment of staff including casuals
    * Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
    * Implement a computerized HRM System
    * Develop and implement reward management and remuneration strategies to attract, motivate and retain staff
    * Prepare HR budgets and ensure compliance to the approved salary budget.

Required skills and qualifications:
    * Bachelors degree in a business related area
    * A higher diploma in Human Resource Management
    * Must have not less than 3 years experience as HRM in the hospitality/hotel industry
    * Excellent written and oral communication skills
    * Strategic knowledge and thinking
    * Honesty, confidentiality and integrity
    * Demonstrated high level of maturity and good leadership skills
    * Excellent organization, planning and analytical skills
    * Ability to drive change
    * Must show initiative, innovation and high level efficiency
    * Good knowledge of the Hospitality industry
    * A good team player who is customer focused
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
