The Finance Manager (FM) will oversee the management of
financial and reporting functions for the PRIMR program at the Nairobi office
to ensure compliance with the terms of the agreement.
S/he will ensure appropriate systems and procedures (cash management, vendor payments, budgeting and other related financial management duties) are in place to properly disburse, account, budget and report project funds which are cost effective, timely and have proper internal controls. S/he will provide supervision for
PRIMR accountants.
Applicants will possess a minimum of a Bachelor degree plus six (6) years or a
Master’s degree plus three (3) of experience in Finance or Accounting with CPA
qualifications.S/he will ensure appropriate systems and procedures (cash management, vendor payments, budgeting and other related financial management duties) are in place to properly disburse, account, budget and report project funds which are cost effective, timely and have proper internal controls. S/he will provide supervision for
PRIMR accountants.
Candidates will also have at least three (3) years of experience working for a USAID project.
Candidates with demonstrated managerial experience are preferred.
Knowledge and experience with QuickBooks is desired.
