Our client is a newly formed asset management organization that
is looking for energetic and dynamic individuals required to assist in the
establishment and operations.
Parties must be attune to working in a start-up environment, self-driven and flexible in duties assigned.

* Implementation, management and development of new financial processes and systems
* Supervision, management and development of financial officers
* Management and adherence to procurement policies and procedures
* Maintenance and monitoring of debtors
* Bank account management and daily reconciliation of both fund and corporate accounts which includes timely investigation of balances
* Timely and accurate preparation of reports to both external and internal stakeholders
* Manage audit process to completion and implement recommendations
* Evaluation of expense management and pricing
* Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by exercising proper controls on inputs, output and access
* Prepare revenue monitoring systems and other reports from the financial system within agreed timelines
* Actively promote financial awareness throughout the organization
* Mitigate risks and controls to enhance efficiency
* Have a full understanding of consolidations and strong technical ability
Qualifications & Experience
* Financial Scrutiny/Governance& Efficiency Management
* Business Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
* Recognised Local or International Accounting Qualification, e.g. CPA(K), ACCA, CIMA
* Experience of using Accounting Software
* Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualified experience in financial services industry
* Experience of setting up and implementing new accounting and internal control systems, particularly in a challenging environment.
