Our client is looking for a Showroom Manager who will be charged with managing

Summary
Our client is a hardware (tools, building materials, industrial equipment) and home-ware (garden and home accessories) super store that targets professionals and developers in the building and construction industry, Institutional Facility managers, Smaller Contractors and Fundis and Hardware Shop Owners or distributors.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Development:
Managing Business development within the retail space.
Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Creating excellent Customer service experience in the retail space.
Overseeing fulfillment to ensure quotes are converted into sales in a more efficient way.
Ensure proper feed back of the customers about their shopping experience at the store.
Check complaints, discontent, displeasure, or unhappiness of the customer; customers need to be smoothly handled, their queries and problems well attended to.
Merchandising:
Ensuring proper and efficient Merchandising in the retail space.
Ensuring that the Stock levels in the shop are efficiently monitored and are at optimal levels at all times.
Show Room Management:
Ensuring that all the process related to showroom opening and closing is followed correctly.
Ensure cleanliness and presentability of the store, exterior and interior.
Security guard allocation and attendance, close observations of Security behavior.
Staffing:
Ensure Staff discipline, grooming standards, proper uniform, and ID cards are visibly displayed.
Developing an all rounded retail team by ensuring that their knowledge of the product is up to date through regular training programs.
Overseeing and managing the Retail team.
Education, Requirements & Experience
Over 5 years experience in a sales profession.
Should be well versed in sales management systems, techniques and report generation
Should be able to motivate, educate and Drive a team
Results driven and a good team player.
Needs to understand Strategy and the retail operations and be able to contribute to the management team.
