Operations Manager

Mwenga Hydro Ltd (a subsidiary of Mufindi Tea Company) is wishing to recruit a suitably skilled and experienced manager for their new 4 MW Hydro Electric Facility and associated Rural Distribution Network. This facility is currently under construction in the Mufindi District of Tanzania.

The job will be based in Mufindi.

Prospective applicants should

§  Have at least a degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering

§  Be able to demonstrate at least 10 years of experience within Industry, of which at least 5 years needs to have been in a managerial position, preferably within the electrical generation and distribution sector

§  Experience within the construction and operation of either a hydro electric facility, or an electrical distribution network that utilizes pre paid metering (or both) would be a definite advantage
