We are looking for an all-round person to join our Kenyan IT team in providing exceptional levels of support to our Kenyans users and assist in the management of the day to day operations of the company’s IT and communications infrastructure.
The IT Support Technician will be reporting to the IT manager in Kenya.

Installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows Server 2008, Linux Oss, Windows XP and Windows 7 machines
Day to day operations management of SQL Server 2008
Monitor and manage the company’s LAN and WAN and VPN connections in all aspects of availability, performance, stability and security
Provide first line technical support to local and remote users

IT Skills & Qualifications
Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
At least 3 years working experience in an IT support role in Kenya
Any one of the following: MCSE or Linux Administration Certification
An excellent all round working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Packages
Experience of working within a TCP/IP Ethernet network environment
An excellent all round working knowledge of Debian based OS
An excellent working knowledge of machine and application virtualization
Professional certificates in CCNA/MCSE/Linux Administration will be an added advantage
At least 3 years working experience in an IT support role in Kenya
