Water and Sanitation Programme Coordinator


The position will require a person who is able to coordinate implementation and develop a Water and Sanitation Programme.

Reporting to the Programs Manager, the person should have the following qualifications:-

Professional qualifications and responsibilities

    Diploma /BSc. in Water or Agriculture Engineering.
    10 years experience working in a community integrated Water and Sanitation programme
    Practical Skills in designing and execution of community based/led Water and Sanitation Projects. This includes but not limited to:

    Hydrological Surveys and Borehole Drilling.
    Water pipeline designing
    Roof catchment water harvesting technology
    Sanitation facilities design and construction
    Installation of Mechanical hand pumps.
    Spring water protection technology.
    Water pans and Dam design and construction.

    Thorough Knowledge on Water Sector and environmental Policies is important.
    Be computer literate and have excellent working skills.
    Experience in working for Development Agencies will be an added advantage.
