Job Details
Specific Duties
- · Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
- · Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls, emails and conducting customer visits.
- · Arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
- · Acting as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets;
- · Planning, implementing and representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
- · Negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers
- · Advising and implementing on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
- · Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
- · Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
- · Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations;
- · Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
- · Managing, training and supervising staff
- · Analyzing previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines;
- · Develop and implement brand marketing activities to ensure sales of company products within the target market.
- · Provide weekly sales and marketing reports/ daily sales reports
- · Assisting in delivering of approved sales and marketing strategies.
- · Managing marketing materials, production, including leaflets, flyers and posters. This involves proofreading and writing, liaising with printers and designers.
- · Implementing marketing research, brand awareness, customer surveys, and analyze demands of the customers.
- · Analyzing product and market pricing.
- · Maintaining and updating mail database and measuring marketing campaigns.
- · Monitoring the activities of competitors.
- JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Degree in Marketing or equivalent; MBA is preferred
Professional qualifications
· Diploma in marketing e.g MSK, CIM
· Have a Food and beverage back ground
Level of experience
· Experience in the hospitality and food service industry in a function of Marketing
· 3-5 years experience in sales and marketing.
Competencies
Ability to operate on an ERP system and graphic design skills is a huge advantage.
