Job Title: SAP/ finance for implementation core team leader.
Reporting to: Finance Controller
Location: Dar es Salaam
Desired Age Group: Around 30 yrs
Contract: Permanent
Key Job responsibilities
1. Implementation of finance and cost control modules of SAP, ERP system as per its pre defined best practice methodology.
2. Identify process gaps for financial management and controlling and resolve the same during requirement analysis of business process. Design ERP based financial and cost control solutions based on business requirements.3. Interprete and apply applicable rules, laws and procedures to financial operation Configuring and supporting SAP/CO along with integration with other modules like SD/MM/PP/HR/QM/PM
4. The candidate will be responsible for the application and support of all aspects of the SAP FI including AR/AP/GL New GL/Asset Accounting/Special ledger consolidation.
5. Ensuring that all business process get configured as efficiently as possible in the SAP FOCO environment and all functionality offered is utilized if necessary to make the project as successful as possible.
6. To work day to day with SAP project consultant, project team members and end users to successfully convey SAP FICO functionality as needed to make design decisions, review and unit test all development/deliverables with current project team; along with project team ensure change management goals are met for training documentation and user communication.
7. The project requires that the incumbent joins the regular finance and accounting function of the company after the successful completion of the ERP project
Professional qualifications
1. Bachelors Degree in Commerce, (finance or accounting option) or Certified accountant(CPA finalist)
Key Competencies.
1. 5-7 yrs in Accounting and finance functions
2. In dept knowledge in general ledger accounting, accounts receivables,acconts payables, Bank accounting, cash journals accounting, fixed asset accounting, tax accounting, budgeting, cost and profit centre accounting,profitabitlty analysis, year end and period end closing and financial statements.
3. The candidate should be dynamic, persistent and hard working.
4. In depth knowledge of financial software applications, database, spreadsheets and word processing.
5. Experience in the preparation of financial statements budgets and forecast.
6. Firm foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting standards
7. Demonstrates a leadership and management style that works in cooperation with others.
8. Good communication skills with proficiency in English.
9. Ability to plan,run,and manage, meetings with internal employees and external consultants
