Job : QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR
Reports to: OPERATIONS MANAGER
QA Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement methods and procedures for the disposal of damaged products.
Oversee the staff in the Quality Assurance section and training all QA staff on quality related issues.
Propose value stream activities to management for adoption.
Coordinate and oversee timely calibration and routine checks of all testing and inspection equipment as per the established standard.
Oversee and provide technical support to new product development.
Lead regular audits of Gemba Kaizen, ISO and EHS, and initiate closure of non conformities.
Oversee the staff in the Quality Assurance section and training all QA staff on quality related issues.

Develop and maintain a working relationship with external quality and environmental governing bodies.
Generate Quality Compliance Reports and documentation, including review and implementation of work instructions and procedures.
Ensure that a set of specifications for testing all finished products are documented.
Responsible for ensuring all relevant SOPs are in place and reviewed periodically as per requirements.
Ensure all products meet the various standardization quality marks.
Study product test analysis and approve material test certificates.
Analyze product yield reports and provide appropriate advice.
Ensure that customers’ complaints related to the quality of products are well handled, investigated, corrective action taken and records maintained.
Initiate backward loop of corrective action with a view to prevent non-standard products.
Compliance to KEBS & other regulatory agencies standards and norms.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience For Kenyans
Bachelors Degree in Engineering – Production/Mechanical/Industrial or related field.
Lead Auditors Training in ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001.
Training in Kaizen Management System.
5 years relevant experience particularly in management of ISO standards.
Demonstrated leadership and managerial capabilities.
Exceptional planning and organization skills.
