JAVA DEVELOPER
Description: This position will be predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting the TurnQuest applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.
Responsibility
• Participate in new and existing product and feature development across multiple development teams.
• Providing software development testing and maintenance for the application implemented in Java and Oracle PLSQL.
• Creating or update technical system documentation
• Adhering to established polices and procedures to ensure integrity and quality of projects
Knowledge & Skills requirements
• A graduate/final year undergraduate pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
• Understanding of the insurance business
• Ability to Perform software development tasks in a professional and effective manner.
• Must have solid programming skills and a sound understanding of data structures, database theory
and database administration.
• Possess a strong understanding of software engineering principals including data normalization,
structured programming and software development cycles.
