Our client, a water treatment solutions company is looking for qualified water engineers/technicians to work in their Technical sales department.
Preferred qualifications;
- A Bsc degree in Water and Environmental Engineering /Civil Engineering
- Diploma in Water and Waste Water Management
- Self driven and able to work under minimal supervision
- Knowledge of the working of water treatment systems is essential
- Good interpersonal skills and presentation skills
- Go getter and highly ambitious
- Be Smart and presentable
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience in sales
The job shall entail;
- Promote and sell all the company products under specified categories
- Create awareness of the company’ products & services to key target groups
- Coordinate the company’s Commercial & Industrial Sales activities with the aim of satisfying customer needs and maximizing revenues.
- Conduct market research on new products to be added on your category
- Development, design and calculate attractive offers and promotions based on market feedback or established demand
- Implement sales promotion actions in-house, locally and regionally
- Prepare quotes and tenders as well as follow up on leads and repeat orders
- Plan, coordinate and implement all sales trips in the country in agreement with theManaging Director
- Establish relationships with strategic partners, relevant authorities and network with various industry players for in-depth market knowledge and supportive relations
- Develop a strong market-segment driven strategy for the penetration of the Kenyan market for water treatment and disinfection
- Provide comprehensive information to existing and potential customers regarding the company’s product range
