Duties
The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise students and research projects both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in some of the following programmes:
* Economic Development
* Entrepreneurship
* Project Management
* Environmental Studies
You will also be required to perform related duties to support the core mission of the School, Faculty and the University
Knowledge, skills and experience required
* The applicant must have a PhD Degree in Development Studies or in a related discipline.
* Those who hold relevant Master’s Degree (and are registered for PhD) and have at least 3 years of teaching experience in a tertiary level institution will also be considered.
* Applicants are also expected to show evidence of active research and significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge.
* Demonstrate good leadership skills.
* Show evidence of active participation in departmental activities and good quality teaching.
* Be of the highest ethical standards, integrity and professionalism.
