Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA) is an institution under the Ministry of Education that offers In-service Education and Training (INSET) for Mathematics and Science Teachers in Kenya.The Centre also services as a Regional INSET Centre for Strengthening of Mathematics and Science Education in Western, Eastern, Central and Southern African (SMASE WECSA) from 34 African countries.

Job Details
The supply assistant will be responsible for coordinating the purchase of supplies for the department with vendors; maintain a filing system in accordance with internal procedures; maintain office supply inventories and order supplies as necessary; receive approved requisitions and prepare and dispatch IPO’s as needed for goods and services and follow up to ensure timely delivery; Maintaining registers of Receipt and issued stores from the central store; Carrying out stocktaking of stores; Issuing and rationing of stores; Identifying of unserviceable stores/ or other stores for disposal; and Ensuring general care and cleanliness of the stores.Requirements
A Diploma in Supplies Management or its equivalent qualification; Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C-(minus) with a minimum of C- in Mathematics and English or Kiswahili or its equivalent; Proficiency in computer applications; At least 3 years Procuring experience; Negotiation and planning skills; Attentive to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
