Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA) is an institution under the Ministry of Education that offers In-service Education and Training (INSET) for Mathematics and Science Teachers in Kenya.The Centre also services as a Regional INSET Centre for Strengthening of Mathematics and Science Education in Western, Eastern, Central and Southern African (SMASE WECSA) from 34 African countries.

Job Details
The Housekeeper will be responsible for liaising with the Procurement Department in ensuring that materials required are available; working with the Finance Department in purchasing of the equipment and materials required for food preparation; plan, pre-prep, cook and serve a variety of food items for luncheons, special occasion lunch and dinners and other special events; ability to plan menus, determine quantities of food needed; considerable ability to plan, cook, garnish, set up and serve large functions; maintain and ensure healthy standards; food service and presentation; kitchen management; maintain high standards of hygiene; food preparation of different types; Supervise the cooks, laundry assistants and train them accordingly.Requirements
A Diploma in Food Beverages and Institutional Management or its equivalent; A certificate of good health; Prior experience as Housekeeper/Cateress or a comparable and relevant position for at least three (3) years; Good organizing skills; Team working and interpersonal skills.
